9 month check up

We went to our 9 month check up today and the girls are doing good Kaylin is 17 lb 5 oz and 26 inches long and Kallie is 20 lb 10 oz and 27 inches.The doctor said that they are doing good Kallie is a little behinde in her gross moter skill then Kaylin but we knew that she was.I'm so glad they are doing so good I can't beleave how much they haved grown in the last 9 months I can't beleave that they were in the NICU the first week of their life and that Kallie was so sick and in the PICU for 4 wee… Continue

Is this normal?

I breastfeed my twin girls, who are 7 months old now and they ahve started to bite me, while nursing. Ava has 2 teeth and Olivia has her 1st one. It seems like they stop biting and pulling back when my milk lets down. I have never had this happen to me before with my other children, is this normal? Im hoping it will stop, because it hurts like crazy. It will not hinder me from continuing to nurse them, but I was wondering if there may be some trick or fix that I could do. Birthday Wishes

Thanks to all of you for wishing me a happy birthday. It was very uneventful, which is a good thing. My parents came over this previous weekend and made us a beautiful birthday dinner (they only live about 30 minutes away). Then, of course, we had cake and let the babies (toddlers) taste test as well. What a great post, Stephanie and some GREAT suggestions and advice! I had tears in my eyes reading your posts. Post partum depression is not a fun thing to go through, but there are alot of great resources out there for mothers that have it.
